VitaminWater, better known as slightly favored water with vitamins, has decided to take its branding to the next level. By sponsoring a, close-to, week long lineup of concerts/events/etc., vitaminwater uncapped LIVE has taken over the old Hanke Building (1128 Main St., OTR) and is putting on quite a display in the realms of sports, music, and fashion. The kick off event took place last night with a triple bill lineup of the bands Bad Veins X, You You You’re Awesome, and Lightning Love.

iSPYCINCY showed up for the Yelp pre-party from 6-8 for an inside peak at the building. Shock and awe are the first words that come to mind. The space, previously abandoned and on the verge of a health notice, has been transformed into an arty hangout spot / music venue. Kenneth Wright deserves much of the credit for the makeover… creative genius alert.

The rest of the week (events through Wednesday, September 21st) will be equally as satisfying, if not more. Expectations should include awesome music, great people, and the always fun (and free) framester photo booth.

9.16.11 – Revive recess: school is back, but recess is in. Join us for all ages fun all in one place! A skate park by Anonymous Skateboard shop, recess game throwbacks, photo booth and live music from featured bands of the Clifton Music Festival. Doors at 7:00pm – all ages!

9.17.11 – Party rock – the Hood Internet NXTLVL Artists DJs, doors open at 7 p.m.

9.18.11 – V-dubstep: get ready to rage, with a Dubstep show by Deejay Simo, Bitflip & Firecat 451, you’ll need to keepyour energy up, and stay hydrated with vitaminwater. Doors at 7:00pm.

9.19.11 – Abs and Laughs: 5 to 7:30 p.m., get your yoga on with rocket power yoga, performed to the drum beats of Liz Wu, lead by Deontre Dartin; 8 to 11 p.m., get your laughs on, with comedy from an act known as Little Big Night, starring local Cincinnati improv comedy troupes such as: Off the Rocks and Incredulity!

9.20.11 – Show us your glow fashion show: local designer fashion showcase inspired by vitaminwater zero, you won’t want to miss this season’s hottest looks! Doors at 6:00 p.m.

9.21.11 – Midpoint Music Festival Kick off: featuring the Royal Bangs with openers The Harlequins. Be the first to preview the vitaminwater stage for MPMF2011; doors at 7:00 p.m.
