David Good posing with a fan… lucky lady

Lovers of ABC’s Bachelor(ette/Pad) series got a taste of the Good life recently when Bachelor Pad winner David Good paid a return trip to his adopted city of Cincinnati. He delighted fans with a book signing at Dhani Jones’s Bowtie cafe in Mt. Adams.

Good is the author of The Man Code, a guide to the unwritten rules in which a “man’s man” subscribes. A glimpse into understanding the hows and whys of a man’s psyche: Why are guys afraid to show emotion? Why won’t they stop to ask for directions? Well, the answers to those questions and many more one can find in The Man Code. And if we are really lucky, hopefully we will learn the answer to this age old question: Why do men leave the toilet seat up?

Much of the content in The Man Code, Good claims he gained from his experience on The Bachelorette (the Jillian Harris season).

Good has been hosting book signings all over the country and a return to his old stomping grounds seemed an obvious choice. This hunkster grew up in Dayton and lived in Cincinnati for a short time while working for Total Quality Logistics in Milford. Since then, he’s had quite a ride… first as a contestant on The Bachelorette and then as the co-winner of $125 K on The Bachelor Pad. Good now calls Tampa, FL his home. Lucky for him to escape the cold of the Queen City.

The Bowtie Cafe provided the perfect backdrop for Good’s book signing. The cozy atmosphere and low lighting of the corner eatery created an intimacy that allowed Good to mingle with his fans and readers.

Several die-hard fans showed up for Good’s appearance, including one who downed several drinks just to work up the courage to say hello.

The motley crew followed up the night with an after party at downtown nightclub Lunar.
