Sexy. Provocative. Edgy. Those are the words I’d use to describe the third edition of Exhibitionism at the Weston Art Gallery. The party was held on Saturday, May 18 where the “off-limits” Aronoff underground was transformed into a sea of neon lights, beautiful dancers, platforms, and scenery by Joe Rigotti of Accent on Cincinnati. (He pulled double duty that night having also designed the party scene for the Celestial Ball.)

Exhibitionism in its simplest form is a lot of half naked people. They are either lying down in speedo like underwear in an on-going interactive visual display, photographed in provocative positions, or literally rubbing shoulders with the guests in a casual lingerie fashion show. No big deal that I’m in a bra and panties; I’m just gonna pose for a second on this platform. Ogling is encouraged.

And let me tell you, it’s HOT — the kind of hot where you touch your sexy boyfriend and your finger sizzles. OUCH.
Good thing this party eases you into the bedroom. Foreplay a.k.a. the VIP reception took place in the lobby of the Aronoff Center from 8-9:30. Instead of necking and some below the belt hand action, we enjoyed complimentary cocktails, food-by-the-bite from local restaurants, and a few other special performances including Tatiana Berman (Artistic Director of the Constella Fest) on the violin.
As patrons made there way into the basement, the dramatic change of scenery was palpable. Oh my, what world have I entered? If there was ever an inclination that it was too much, those feelings soon passed. Gratuitous amounts of skin? Okay. Another drink? Why yes; thank you for asking.
It’s called Exhibitionism for a reason, and we were all on exhibit Saturday night. Hope you brought your game face.
