On Saturday afternoon the golf and tennis crowd at Coldstream Country Club took a break from hitting balls to hit up the Third Annual Bake Me Home Boutique, a benefit for the Bake Me Home Charity founded by Alison Bushman and her twin daughters Emma and Amy .

While guests munched on samples from vendors, they shopped the wares of about 15 stores and small businesses from across Cincinnati and enjoyed a cooking demo from local celebrity chef Amy Tobin. Shoppers in the mood to really spend could also bid on a silent auction item and grab a glass of wine from the cash bar.

Close to 400 people perused the goods at Coldstream on this rainy Saturday, each and every one of them happy to stay warm and dry inside this beautiful country club.

Bake Me Home is an organization that promotes volunteerism through the shared experience of baking cookies. In fact, the organization makes a mean Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Cooke recipe, one that’s ingredients are often given out to women’s shelters and baked for troops overseas. The annual boutique helps raise funds to support these ongoing projects.
